VCU Police office

Located at 938 W. Grace St., this building houses the VCU Police Department’s Emergency Communication Center, VCU Police Academy, administration and Victim-Witness Program. Security services for academic buildings, residential housing and the Security Escort Service are located at 922 W. Grace St.

VCU Office of Community Policing

The Office of Community Policing is located at 922 W. Grace St. and may be reached Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at (804) 828-6226.

Broad Street housing office

Our office for community policing officers is located at the corner of Hancock and West Marshall streets at the rear of the Ackell Residence Center. Various community policing officers utilize this office during their respective shifts. They may be reached in person.

VCU Medical Center Office of Community Policing

This satellite office is located in the Virginia Mechanics Institute Building, 1000 E. Marshall St. Officer Tanike Troublefield may be reached in this office Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at (804) 828-8730.

Virginia State Police Sex Offender Registry

In accordance to the Campus Sex Prevention Act of 2000, which amends the Jacob Wetterling Act as well as the Jeanne Clery Act and the Family Privacy Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, the VCU Police Department is providing a link to the Virginia State Police Sex Offender Registry. By entering the website, the user will be able to query registered convicted sex offenders in the commonwealth of Virginia.
